AVOCADO, Scientific Name : Persea americana
Probably have originated from Mexico, although historians noted that Avocado was already being propagated in Rio Grande(Brazil) and in Peru long before the arrival of Europeans. A fast growing tree, Avocado tree is a dense, evergreen tree, shedding many leaves as its fruits grow. A very tasty fruit, in the Philippines, it is a favorite desert, often mixing the fruit with milk, sugar and ice, creating an Avocado shake.
